It's been quite some time since I posted on the blog portion of this page. I suppose I've been slow to post much anywhere on this page over the past several months, but usually no news is good news.
The rest of 2012 went fairly smoothly. I went home for Thanksgiving where the whole family gathered to celebrate the holiday. We all enjoyed delicious food and made some happy memories.
December kept me in California, but luckily I didn’t have to spend Christmas alone. My amazing brother, Mike, flew to California for the holiday and my awesome cousin and her fiancée, Sarah and James, made the trek down from Seattle to further remind us how great it is to be a Hohl. Over the holiday weekend, we explored some of the best parts of San Francisco—the Golden Gate Bridge, the Marina, Ghirardelli Square, Fisherman’s Wharf and of course, no trip to San Francisco would be complete with out some rain, of which we had no shortage.
January brought exciting firsts for the Spencers—the kids had their first trip to Colorado to visit Uncle Michael and their first trip down a mountain on skis. Andy showed us his impressive skills on skis and the family all enjoyed a little Colorado sun.
Traci continues to plan exciting adventures for the upcoming months. In April, Traci and I will take a trip to Chicago where we plan to see Book of Mormon on its Broadway tour across the US. I’m looking forward to spending some time with the kids in Ohio as well next month. In June, the most exciting trip happens when the whole Allan-Spencer clan will once again descend upon the great state of California to visit Legoland and Disneyland! What could be more exciting?!? Not much. I am SO looking forward to that adventure. It can’t come soon enough!!
For now, I will whet my appetite by planning the trip home in a few weeks where I can once again bask in the glory of my fabulous family. I can’t wait.
